Welcome to C venues, the home of theatre and new work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Our curated programme, showcasing new writing, classic drama, musicals, opera, music, dance, comedy, cabaret, circus, children's and family shows and visual and performance art, makes us one of the largest venue seasons on the Fringe. During the Festival each August, over 200 events take place in our theatres, café-bars, foyers and exhibition spaces, created by over 2,000 participants from more than 150 companies.
You can browse our 2016 programme here or by using the CtheFestival link in the header of this page.

C venues announces two new venues for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017
For 2017 C venues cement our New Town presence with two new venues in the heart of the New Town.
C royale, at the Royal Society of Edinburgh on the the corner of George Street and Hanover Street, is our newest hub venue, housing multiple performance spaces forom 20 to 120 seats over three floors of this iconic city centre Georgian Building. As well as multiple black box studios, both flexible format and with fixed seating, the venue includes a sumptuous bar, space for 'pay what you think' shows, exhibition spaces and grand classical rooms suitable for site specific performance.
C hill street, just minutes from C royale, is one of the longest-running Fringe venues, and we are proud to bring this historic venue to our stable. The venue houses a 90-seat end-on theatre, 60-seat black box end-on studio, a site-specific historic room micro studio, and the cellars are also available for small-cast site-specific performance.
